What does Parcel do, and what does my assistant do?
Parcel keeps your job search organized. It stores your career details, preferences, Jobs, documents, interview preparation, and Notes. Connect ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or Claude Code to read and update the information you authorize. Ask your assistant to prepare work or retrieve what you saved; use the website to review or edit it yourself. You choose what to save and control the connection.
How do I start my search?
Ask your connected assistant to add a Job and help prepare its posting, Match, Documents, Interview preparation, and Notes. You can also add a Job manually from your workspace and edit its content in the website. Start with a Job at any stage of your search.
How do I save my work?
Ask your connected assistant to save the work you want to keep in Parcel. You can also edit it manually in the website and use the Save toolbar. Work prepared in a chat is only stored in Parcel when your assistant saves it there; website edits are saved when Save succeeds. Downloading a PDF does not submit an application. Each Job has its own Resume; selecting an Account Resume makes an independent copy, so later edits do not update both.
How do I connect or disconnect an assistant?
Find Parcel in the ChatGPT or Claude directory, or install the GitHub marketplace plugin for Codex or Claude Code. Sign in to Parcel and review the requested access. Open Connections in the website for the setup guide and to review access. To disconnect, revoke access in Connections. If a connection stops working, check the provider setup and your Connections page. You can continue using the website after disconnecting.
Can I use an assistant beside the website?
Yes, if your browser and assistant support WebMCP. Sign in toParcel and keep the workspace page open beside your browser assistant. It can read and change saved work using your website sign-in. Save or discard unsaved edits and close editing dialogs before requesting changes. WebMCP support is experimental; if tools are unavailable, use a directory or plugin connection, or edit directly in the website. Close the Parcel page or sign out to stop its page tools; manage the assistant’s browser permissions in your browser. Follow the browser setup guide.
Does Parcel send applications for me?
No. Parcel does not send applications to employers or record a separate submission history. After you apply elsewhere, set the Job status to Applied yourself or ask your authorized assistant to do it. Documents remain editable after a status change.
What does a public Resume link share?
A public link exposes the Resume you choose to publish. It follows the latest saved content, not unsaved edits. Deactivate the Share to stop public access. Changing its URL name breaks the old link. Copies already downloaded by other people remain outside your control.
How do I manage or delete my account?
Ask your assistant for guidance on account settings or deletion. You can also open Account settings directly in the website. Sign-in changes and account deletion require you to use those controls yourself. Deleting your account revokes Parcel access and removes your Parcel-owned content. Cleanup may continue after access stops. Closing a Job only moves it out of the Active view; it does not delete it. Bulk account export is not available.
